Tooling is managed by a 40-tool automatic tool changer with a rapid 3.5-second tool change time and 10-second chip-to-chip cycle, with optional pallet changer support for two pallets to maximize uptime. The SIRIUS 2500/5AX offers five-axis capability, with X, Y, and Z travels of 122", 90.5", and 39.3" respectively (X-axis expandable), and a B-axis rotation of ±100°. All axes achieve a maximum feed rate of 315 ipm and rapid traverse of 630 ipm, ensuring fast and efficient machining cycles. The direct-drive rotary axes provide high-precision angle division and high-speed rotation, minimizing backlash and maximizing accuracy.
