It is equipped with a #40 taper vertical spindle delivering up to 10,000 RPM and 10 HP (rated for 30 minutes), providing ample power for a variety of milling operations. The machine integrates a 30-tool automatic tool changer (ATC) with a rapid 2-second tool change time and a 4-second chip-to-chip change, optimizing machining efficiency. Optional pallet handling includes a two-pallet changer, allowing continuous workflow. The machine operates on three axes (X, Y, Z) with travel ranges of 45.3", 21.7", and 21.7", respectively, and offers rapid traverse rates up to 1,571 inches per minute for fast positioning. Feed rates reach 945 inches per minute on each axis, suitable for a balance of speed and precision. A fourth axis option is available for enhanced machining versatility.
