The HWACHEON T2 Horizontal Machining Center is a high-performance, dual-spindle CNC lathe designed for maximum productivity and precision in complex turning and milling operations. It features two main spindles, each capable of 5,000 RPM and 20 HP, enabling simultaneous machining with a maximum turning diameter of 14.9" and a maximum turning length of 20.5". The main spindle chuck diameter is 8", with a maximum swing of 17.7" and a bar capacity of 2.5". Both spindles offer precise indexing at 1.000° increments for accurate part handling. The machine is equipped with twin turrets—upper and lower—each supporting up to 12 turning tools and 12 rotary tools, with rotary tool power of 10 HP and speeds up to 6,000 RPM. This configuration allows for two simultaneous cutting tools, optimizing efficiency. The T2 operates on a 5-axis platform with X-axis travel of 9.6" and Z-axis travel of 20.5", delivering rapid traverse rates of 1,181 ipm on X, Y, and Z axes for swift tool movements. Its robust heat-symmetrical "box-on-box" bed structure ensures stability and minimizes thermal displacement, while active cooling of all drives maintains precision during continuous operation.
