The HYD-MECH H-12A Horizontal Band Saw is engineered for precision cutting with a capacity of 12" in diameter for round stock and 12" x 12" for rectangular materials. It features a robust 13' 6" blade, 1" in width and 0.035" in thickness, operating at variable speeds of 75-400 SFM, with an optional VFD for 50-350 SFM. The manual blade tension reaches up to 26,000 psi, ensuring optimal cutting performance. Equipped with carbide blade guides that are coolant lubricated, the saw maintains efficiency and longevity. The 16" blade wheel diameter supports the heavy-duty operation, powered by a 3 hp blade drive motor and a 2 hp hydraulic motor. The hydraulic system operates at 500 psi with a 6.5 gpm pressure-compensated pump, while the coolant system delivers 3.5 gpm, utilizing a 23 US gallon tank. The hydraulic tank holds 7.5 US gallons, facilitating smooth operation. The machine features hydraulic vise control and a shuttle stroke capability of 0-22" for versatile cutting applications. With a table height of 31", the H-12A is designed for ergonomic use. Weighing 3,800 lbs and capable of handling a maximum workload of 6,000 lbs, this band saw is built for durability and efficiency.
