Technical Description

The Hyundai WIA KH63G is a high-performance horizontal machining center designed for heavy-duty cutting and precision machining. It features a robust horizontal spindle with a BT #50 taper, delivering 29.5 hp at 4,500 RPM as standard, with an optional upgrade to 34.8 hp and 8,000 RPM for enhanced performance. The machine includes a 3-axis configuration, with optional 4-axis capability, offering generous travel distances of 37.4" (X), 32.5" (Y), and 29.9" (Z), and rapid traverse rates of 787 ipm across all axes, enabling high-speed machining. The work table measures 24.8" by 24.8", supporting workpieces up to 2,205 lbs, with a standard 2-pallet shuttle-type changer system that maximizes productivity through quick loading and unloading. The tool changer accommodates 90 fixed-address tools as standard, with an upgraded option for 120 tools, achieving tool change times of 6 seconds and chip-to-chip times of 11 seconds.
