Technical Description
This vertical machining center features a large worktable measuring 125.9" long by 81.0" wide, capable of supporting a maximum workpiece weight of 22,000 lbs, accommodating heavy and large-scale machining operations. It operates with a vertical spindle configured with an HSK-63A taper, optimized for high precision and rigidity during cutting. The spindle offers a top speed of 24,000 RPM, with an optional spindle rated at 18,000 RPM, powered by a 31 HP motor (standard) and an optional 56 HP motor for enhanced performance. Tool handling is managed via a 24-tool automatic tool changer (ATC) with an optional capacity of up to 120 tools, enabling extended unmanned operation and flexible machining setups. The machine includes three linear axes (X, Y, Z), with travel lengths of 122" along the X-axis, 70" (optionally 90") along the Y-axis, and 32" (optionally 42") along the Z-axis, all with rapid traverse rates of up to 472 inches per minute, ensuring efficient movement and reduced cycle times. This configuration supports high-capacity, high-precision machining in a robust and versatile platform suited for large, heavy-duty industrial manufacturing tasks.
