The KENT INDUSTRIAL USA, INC. BM-3 Vertical Machining Center is a robust 3-axis CNC bed mill designed for precision machining with a table size of 50" x 10". It features a powerful 3 HP vector drive spindle motor with an R8 taper (optional #30) and a programmable spindle speed range of 80 to 4,500 RPM, enabling versatile machining capabilities. The machine offers travels of 34" in the X-axis, 16" in the Y-axis, and 24" in the Z-axis, accommodating a wide range of part sizes and cutting depths. The spindle nose-to-table distance ranges from 2" to 26", and the quill has a 5" travel with a diameter of 3-3/8". The table supports up to 1,480 lbs distributed load, with three 5/8" wide T-slots for versatile workholding.
Durability and precision are enhanced by the certified Meehanite® machine casting, metal telescopic way covers, and an automatic lubrication system with metered check valves. The machine base includes a built-in coolant reservoir with programmable flood coolant, splash guards, and a chip pan to maintain optimal cutting conditions. Operators benefit from metal hand wheels on X and Y axes for manual setups and the Acu-Rite MillPwr-G2 conversational control with a 12.1" color LCD, supporting manual, DRO, conversational, and G-code modes. Connectivity includes dual USB ports, Ethernet, and RS-232.
