The KENT KMH-1000 Horizontal Machining Center is a robust CNC machine designed for high-precision machining with a substantial working envelope, featuring X, Y, and Z-axis travels of 60.2 inches, 49.2 inches, and 49.2 inches, respectively. It incorporates a 3-axis control system with a CAT50 Big+ tool taper and an Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) capable of holding 40 tools, with optional expansions to 60, 90, or 120 tools. The machine’s pallet measures 39.4 by 39.4 inches and supports a heavy-duty load, suitable for large workpieces. Constructed with a traveling column design and a heavy-duty, integrated table and box-type structure, the KMH-1000 ensures exceptional rigidity and vibration dampening, overcoming common cutting issues such as “blind rigidity.” It employs heavy-duty roller-type linear guideways on all three axes for high load resistance and rapid traverses.
