The Kern HSPC Vertical Machining Center is a high-precision CNC machine designed for demanding micro-machining applications. It features a compact table size of 13.78" x 9.84" capable of supporting workpieces up to 107 lbs. The vertical spindle utilizes a #20 taper and offers a standard maximum speed of 20,000 RPM, with an optional upgrade to 80,000 RPM for ultra-high-speed operations, powered by a 2.0 HP (30-minute rating) motor. Tooling is managed via an automatic tool changer (ATC) with a standard capacity of 32 tools, expandable to 64, and a pallet changer is available as an option with support for up to 2 pallets. The machine operates on 3 axes (X, Y, Z) with optional 4th axis capability, providing X-axis travel of 8.66" (up to 9.84" optional), Y-axis travel of 6.39" (up to 9.84" optional), and Z-axis travel of 9.84". The A-axis offers a swivel range of ±110°, while the B-axis provides full 360° rotation. Maximum feed rates and rapid traverse speeds are 22 ipm across all axes, ensuring efficient and accurate machining.
