KIWA KMH-1250 HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTER

The Kiwa KMH-1250 is a robust horizontal machining center equipped with a 49.2" x 49.2" table capable of supporting workpieces weighing up to 11,023 lbs. It features a horizontal CAT 50 Big Plus spindle delivering 35 HP (30-minute rating) and running at speeds up to 8,000 RPM. The machine operates on a 4-axis configuration with travels of 82.7" (X), 48.6" (Y), 59" (Z), and a full 360° B-axis rotation, all with rapid traverse rates of 945 inches per minute. Tooling is facilitated via a 60-position automatic tool changer (ATC), with an optional increase to 120 tools; tool changes occur in 8 seconds. The machine includes a standard support rotary table but does not have a pallet changer or U axis. CNC control is typically provided by Fanuc 0i-MD, integrated with a 15" LCD interface.
