This machine features a massive headstock with a main spindle running in tapered roller bearings and dual lathe chuck mounts, accommodating a maximum turning diameter of 39 inches over the bed and a maximum machining length of 118 inches (expandable to 16,000 mm upon request). The spindle bore measures 11 inches standard, with optional configurations up to 25 inches available. Operating at speeds ranging from 5 to 450 RPM, the machine is powered by a robust 24.8 HP main drive motor paired with a Fanuc 0i-Mate TD CNC control system featuring advanced technology and maximum reliability. The machine incorporates high-rigidity, hardened and ground guideways throughout its wide machine bed, ensuring superior accuracy and durability. With Z-axis travel of 110 inches and X-axis travel of 23.6 inches, the TubeTurn CNC 2830 delivers positioning accuracy of 0.00118 inches on the X-axis and 0.00236 inches on the Z-axis.
