The Komatsu HB365-3 is a robust hybrid hydraulic excavator engineered for enhanced productivity and fuel efficiency. Powered by a 269 hp (201 kW) Tier 4 Final certified Komatsu SAA6D114E-6 engine, it features an advanced hybrid energy conservation system combining a diesel engine with an electric swing motor and ultra-capacitor technology, delivering up to a 70 hp boost and reducing fuel consumption by up to 20% compared to conventional diesel models. The excavator’s operating weight ranges between 81,791 and 85,495 lbs (approximately 37,180 to 38,780 kg), ensuring excellent stability and effective handling of heavy materials, particularly on rough terrain.
