The Komatsu NTC NH4K Horizontal Machining Center is a versatile CNC machine designed for high-precision horizontal milling operations. It features a table size of 19.7 inches by 15.8 inches, with an optional larger table extending to 31.5 inches in length, capable of supporting workpieces up to 1,100 lbs. The machine operates on a 3-axis configuration, with an optional 4-axis upgrade, offering X, Y, and Z travels of 19.7" x 15.8" x 19.7" respectively, with maximum feed rates of 394 inches per minute and rapid traverse speeds up to 1,418 inches per minute. The spindle is horizontally oriented with a #40 taper, delivering 25 horsepower (30-minute rating) and capable of speeds up to 8,000 RPM, ensuring efficient cutting performance for a wide range of materials. Tool management is facilitated through an automatic tool changer (ATC) with a standard capacity of 10 tools, expandable to 21 tools, enabling flexible and extended machining without manual intervention. Optional support for indexing and rotary tables enhances workpiece positioning and machining versatility, including A and B axes rotations of 105° and 360°, respectively.
