The Kuraki KBT-11DX is a high-capacity horizontal machining center designed for heavy-duty precision machining with a large 47.240" x 55.120" table supporting workpieces up to 11,000 lbs. It features a #50 spindle taper with a maximum speed of 2,500 RPM (3,000 RPM optional) powered by a 20 HP motor (25 HP optional). The machine offers a 5-axis configuration with extensive travel ranges in X (66.930"), Y (49.210"), and Z (45.280") axes and a full 360° B-axis rotation, enabling complex multi-sided machining. The tool system includes an automatic tool changer (ATC) with a standard capacity of 40 tools, expandable up to 240, minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity. An optional pallet changer supports up to 2 pallets standard, expandable to 12 for continuous operation and efficient workpiece handling. The machine delivers rapid traverse rates of 472 IPM on linear axes and a robust feed rate of 157 IPM, ensuring fast and precise machining cycles.
