The LeBlond Makino Regal Servo-Shift manual lathe features a robust 19-1/4" swing over bed and 12-1/4" swing over cross slide, with a spindle nose type L-2 and a large 3-1/16" hole through the spindle, accommodating versatile machining tasks. Its 78" distance between centers and 14-3/8" bed width provide ample workpiece capacity. The lathe operates with a 10 HP motor allowing spindle speeds from 25 to 1000 RPM. It offers fine control over feeds with a longitudinal feed range from .0018" to .104" inches per revolution and cross feeds at half those values. Threading capabilities include English threads from 2 to 112 TPI and metric threads from 0.25 to 14 mm. The tailstock spindle has a 2-7/16" diameter, 7" travel, and uses a #5 Morse taper. This machine, weighing approximately 5,500 lbs and measuring 142" long by 50" wide and 51" high, incorporates the advanced Servo-Shift system, which allows automatic spindle speed selection via a dial knob, providing smooth transitions without manual gear shifts.
