The machine’s table measures 15.7" x 15.7" and supports a maximum workpiece weight of 880 lbs, with 360° B-axis indexing at 0.001° increments for versatile 4-axis machining. The A40 boasts substantial travel capacities: 22" (X-axis), 25.2" (Y-axis), and 25.2" (Z-axis), all with rapid traverse and feed rates of 2,362 inches per minute, ensuring fast and accurate positioning. The tool system includes a 40-tool automatic tool changer (ATC) with a rapid tool-to-tool change time of 0.90 seconds and a chip-to-chip time of 2.2 seconds, enhancing cycle efficiency.
