MANURHIN K'MX SWING 13 HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTER

The MANURHIN K'MX SWING 13 is a high-precision horizontal machining center designed for complex Swiss-type turning and milling of parts with a maximum bar diameter of 0.500" (13 mm). It features a main spindle with a maximum turning diameter of 0.510" and a turning length up to 7.870", powered by a 5 HP motor capable of 12,000 RPM, and a sub spindle with identical turning diameter capability and a turning length of 4.720", operating at 8,000 RPM with 2.93 HP. The machine employs two slide-type tool carriers, supporting up to 2 turning and 2 rotary tools on the primary carrier and up to 4 turning and 4 rotary tools on the secondary carrier, allowing simultaneous use of 2 cutting tools for increased productivity. It utilizes a 7-axis CNC configuration, with options to expand to 9 axes, enabling complex multi-axis machining processes including secondary milling/drilling on center (standard) and off-center or with C-/Y-axis as optional features. Axis travels are compact and precise, with X-axis at 1.770", Y-axis at 4.720", and Z-axis at 8.270", all with rapid traverse rates up to 708 inches per minute.
