The MATEC 30 HV/K Horizontal Machining Center is a versatile 5-axis CNC machine designed for complex 3D and 5-sided machining tasks. It features a robust main spindle with a maximum turning diameter of 23.6" and a turning length up to 51.18", supporting heavy-duty machining of large workpieces. The standard spindle speed is 9,000 RPM with 20 HP power, upgradeable to 12,000 RPM and 40 HP for enhanced performance. The spindle chuck diameter measures 6". The machine supports up to 36 tools in both turning and rotary tool magazines, with rotary tooling capable of reaching 12,000 RPM. It allows simultaneous operation of one cutting tool across 5 axes with an X-axis travel of 51.18", Y-axis travel of 23.6", and Z-axis travel of 31.5". Each axis has a max feed rate of 432 inches per minute and rapid traverse speeds reaching 1,886 ipm, enabling high-speed, precise machining.
