It features a horizontal spindle with a CAT #40/BT taper (optional HSK-A63), a standard 15,000 RPM spindle speed (with an optional 20,000 RPM configuration), and a robust BT 40 tool carrier. The machine supports up to 60 tools as standard, expandable to 330, and comes with a standard pallet changer for two 400×400 mm pallets, with options for up to 12 pallets. The table size is 15.740" × 15.740", capable of handling workpieces up to 880 lbs. The H.Plus-400 offers three linear axes (X, Y, Z) with travels of 22.04", 25.19", and 25.19" respectively, and rapid traverse rates of 2,362 ipm on all axes. An optional fourth axis (rotary table) is available for enhanced flexibility. The machine is equipped with a high-pressure coolant system, advanced thermal compensation, and Matsuura’s Intelligent Meister System for fault diagnosis and program analysis. Its rigid construction, direct-drive rotary table option, and Dynamic Clamp System ensure high accuracy, fast indexing, and efficient production in demanding environments.
