The MAZAK VARIAXIS i-700T is a versatile 5-axis vertical machining center with integrated turning capability, designed for high-precision multitasking applications. It features a main spindle with a maximum turning diameter capacity of 33.46 inches and turning length of 19.69 inches, equipped with a robust 40 HP motor delivering up to 1,100 RPM for heavy-duty cutting. The rotary tool spindle operates at up to 18,000 RPM with 40 HP, supporting complex multi-axis simultaneous machining with one cutting tool active at a time. The machine supports up to 30 tools for both turning and rotary tool operations, enabling flexible tooling configurations. Axis travels include 24.8 inches on the X-axis, 43.31 inches on the Y-axis, and 23.62 inches on the Z-axis, optimized for machining medium-sized workpieces. The rotary table tilts up to 150 degrees (A-axis) with 360-degree indexing (C-axis).
