It is powered by a robust 30 hp spindle motor spinning up to 6,000 RPM through a CAT 50 taper, combining high torque and precision for heavy-duty milling, drilling, and tapping operations. The machine supports an automatic tool changer (ATC) with a capacity of 40 tools, enabling continuous, versatile machining without frequent interruptions. The table measures 82.7 inches in length and 32.3 inches in width, offering ample surface area for workpieces.
Coolant delivery incorporates a high-pressure through-spindle system rated at 3 hp, 231 psi, and 7 gpm, improving chip evacuation and extending tool life during demanding operations. Chip management is optimized with a full-length inverter-driven chip conveyor, facilitating efficient removal of metal swarf from the work zone. Precision and automation features include a dual probing kit (RMP600/RTS-AA) for setup and in-process inspection, enhancing accuracy and reducing downtime. The system integrates MT Connect adapter software, enabling real-time machine monitoring and data exchange.
