Technical Description
This vertical machining center (VMC) features a durable 55.1" x 24.4" worktable capable of supporting up to 2,200 lbs, with optional index and rotary table support. It is equipped with a vertical CAT 40 spindle, delivering up to 25 HP (30-minute rating) and a top speed of 12,000 RPM, with an optional 20 HP motor and 8,000 RPM configuration for flexibility depending on machining needs. The spindle uses an arm-type automatic tool changer (ATC) with a standard capacity of 24 tools, expandable to 40. The machine operates on a rigid 3-axis system (X, Y, Z) with travels of 55.1", 25.6", and 26.6" respectively, all featuring maximum feed rates of 787 IPM and rapid traverse speeds up to 1,417 IPM, offering high precision and efficient cutting performance. A 4-axis option is available to enhance machining versatility. Spindle taper CAT 40 ensures compatibility with a wide range of tooling. This VMC is designed for heavy-duty machining applications, supporting substantial workpiece weight while maintaining high accuracy and repeatability. Optional pallet changers and rotary table supports add automation and multi-fixture machining capabilities. Its powerful spindle combined with a large work envelope and fast feed rates makes it suitable for complex, high-volume precision manufacturing tasks such as aerospace, automotive, and mold making industries, where tight tolerances and productivity are required.
