This vertical machining center features a robust work table measuring 66.9" x 33.5", supporting workpieces up to 4,410 lbs, with optional support for index and rotary tables to enhance versatility. The machine operates on three primary axes (X, Y, Z) with travels of 63.0", 35.4", and 31.5" respectively, all capable of rapid traverses at 1,417 inches per minute and maximum feed rates of 787 ipm. The vertical spindle employs a CAT 40 taper, delivering up to 12,000 RPM and powered by a 25 HP motor rated for 30-minute duty cycles, tuned for both power and speed; a second speed option limits RPM to 8,000. Tool handling is managed by an automatic tool changer (ATC) using an arm-type carrier, supporting 30 tools as standard with an option to increase capacity to 40 tools. Pallet changer functionality is available as an optional feature. This design supports heavy-duty machining operations with a large capacity table and a high-power spindle, suitable for complex 3-axis milling tasks and customizable tool management, making it ideal for mid-to-large scale manufacturing environments requiring precision and high throughput.
