MDA TN5-V6-TC8 VERTICAL MACHINING CENTER

The MDA TN5-V6-TC8 is a compact 5-axis vertical machining center engineered for high-precision micro-machining and rapid prototyping applications. This benchtop system features a 19.6" × 8" × 11" (500mm × 200mm × 280mm) work envelope with a 27.5" × 7" rotary table accommodating small to medium workpieces. The machine is equipped with brushless servo motors on all three linear axes and utilizes an Alfred Jaeger 1500F-D high-frequency spindle delivering 5,000–30,000 RPM with 3.5kW power output, achieving spindle rotational accuracy of 0.002mm (0.00008"). The 5-axis capability includes a trunnion-style rotary table with A-axis range of +120° to -105° and continuous B-axis rotation, enabling complex simultaneous machining of intricate geometries. The machine incorporates high-precision linear guides and ballscrews with 120 IPM rapid traverse rates for efficient non-cutting movements. An automatic 8-position tool changer with integrated tool height setter and automatic tool-break detection streamlines production workflows. The system comes as a turn-key solution including a DM6 6-axis controller, MotusCNC software accepting industry-standard FANUC G-code, and an all-in-one Linux-based PC.
