The Mighty B5000XT Vertical Machining Center is a heavy-duty CNC milling machine designed for large-scale and high-precision machining tasks. It features a robust work table measuring 204" by 80", capable of supporting workpieces up to 60,000 lbs, ideal for processing substantial components. The machine operates with a vertical spindle, offering standard #50 taper and an optional #40 taper, with spindle speeds reaching up to 6,000 RPM, and optionally 8,400 RPM, powered by a 30 HP motor rated for 30 minutes continuous operation, with a 25 HP optional motor. Tool handling efficiency is achieved through a 60-tool Automatic Tool Changer (ATC), with a tool change cycle time of approximately 12 seconds.
This machining center supports 3 axes of motion (X, Y, Z) with optional 4-axis control, providing travel lengths of 200" (X), 71" (Y), and 28" (Z), alongside maximum feed rates of 276 inches per minute and rapid traverses up to 393 inches per minute in all three axes. Angular rotary axes A and B offer rotational travel of 105° and 360°, respectively, enhancing multi-dimensional machining capabilities.
