It incorporates a CT40 spindle taper and a five-bearing air-purged spindle cartridge assembly capable of 8,000 RPM, driven by a high-torque closed loop vector drive, supporting rigid tapping and a spindle taper blow-out feature for tool retention and safety. The feed rate maxes at 500 inches per minute with axis thrust rated at 5,000 lbs, ensuring robust cutting forces are managed. Axes positioning accuracy is ±0.001" with repeatability of 0.0003", achieved by 45 mm heavy-duty linear ball ways and precision ground double-anchored ball screws, guaranteeing fine positioning and rigidity. Control capabilities include conventional plus G & M code programming with advanced functions such as coordinate rotation and scaling, mirror imaging, thread mill engraving, helical interpolation, and user-definable macros with trigonometric assist and irregular pocket clearing, allowing complex machining processes. An upgraded memory system and a front panel-mounted hand wheel provide improved operational control. The included high-speed program package facilitates rapid machining cycles.
