The Mitsubishi M-H80EN is a horizontal machining center featuring a CAT-50 spindle with maximum speeds of 6,000 RPM (expandable to 12,000 RPM) and 35 HP motor power (40 HP optional). The machine accommodates workpieces up to 4,400 lbs on a 31.5" × 31.5" pallet with standard index table and optional rotary table capability. The three-axis travel configuration provides 39.4" (X), 19.7" (Y), and 31.5" (Z) of movement, with rapid traverse rates reaching 1,575 IPM across all axes. A fourth B-axis offering 360° continuous rotation is available as an optional upgrade. The automatic tool changer (ATC) system includes a standard 40-tool magazine, expandable to 120 tools, with rapid tool change times of 4 seconds and 8 seconds for chip-clearing operations. The machine ships with dual pallet capability as standard configuration, scalable to ten pallets for flexible manufacturing system applications. Precision horizontal spindle orientation combined with efficient pallet changing and high rapid traverse rates enables productive multi-part machining cycles.
