MITSUBISHI MH-4BN HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTER

The Mitsubishi MH-4BN is a 3-axis CNC horizontal machining center designed for precision production applications. Featuring a compact 16" x 16" pallet configuration with 25" X-axis travel, 22" Y-axis travel, and 25" Z-axis travel, this machine provides adequate workspace for medium-sized workpieces. The machine is equipped with a 30 HP spindle motor capable of reaching 12,000 RPM, enabling efficient high-speed machining operations. The spindle utilizes a No. 40 taper interface for tool mounting, supporting rapid tool changes through an automatic tool changer with 1.3-second tool change time and a standard 40-tool capacity. With a maximum workpiece load capacity of 880 lbs on the table, the MH-4BN accommodates various machining tasks including milling, boring, and drilling operations. The machine is controlled by a Meldas 610M CNC control system, with optional Fanuc 18iMA compatibility for flexible programming. Rapid traverse rates of 40,000 mm/min (1,575 ipm) across all axes support high-speed production environments. The traveling column design (X & Y axes) with 650 mm travels ensures consistent accuracy and repeatability. Standard features include an index table for multi-face machining capabilities.
