The Miyano BX-26S is an 8-axis CNC horizontal machining center engineered for precision bar work and automatic screw machine operations. This Swiss-type automatic lathe features dual spindles—a main spindle and sub-spindle—each capable of 8,000 RPM, delivering 5 HP and 2.95 HP respectively. The machine accommodates maximum bar diameters of 1.000" with turning lengths up to 5.000", enabling efficient single-setup machining with equal capabilities on both left and right sides. Equipped with a Fanuc 18i-TB CNC control system, the BX-26S incorporates two independent tool slides with a combined capacity of 16 turning tools and 4 rotary tools, supporting simultaneous dual-tool cutting operations. The secondary mill/drill function operates both on-center and off-center with standard Y and C-axis functionality, accommodating drilling up to 0.47" diameter and tapping to M8. Rapid traverse rates reach 944 IPM across all axes, with X, Y, and Z-axis travels of 7.090", 8.270", and 10.240" respectively. The built-in spindle motors provide rapid acceleration and deceleration for heavy machining operations. Optional configurations expand capability to 10 axes, with rotary tools operating at 4,000 RPM with 0.67 HP each. This versatile platform delivers high productivity for complex part production, featuring chip conveyors and integrated tool management systems ideal for high-volume manufacturing environments.
