This vertical machining center features an exceptionally large table measuring 196" x 78", with an optional expanded size of up to 1100" x 117", capable of supporting workpieces weighing up to 33,000 lbs, making it suitable for heavy-duty industrial machining applications. The machine is equipped with a vertical spindle utilizing a CAT 50 taper as standard, with an optional HSK taper available for enhanced precision and higher speed capabilities. The spindle operates at a maximum speed of 6,000 RPM, with an optional upgrade to 24,000 RPM, delivering 53 HP rated for 30 minutes to handle demanding cutting operations. Tool management is handled via a double-arm tool carrier with a standard capacity of 30 tools, expandable to 100 tools to support complex machining cycles.
The machine provides 3 axes of controlled movement (X, Y, and Z), with an optional 4-axis configuration for diverse machining needs. The axis travels are 157" (X, optional 1062"), 159" (Y, optional 198"), and 43" (Z), all capable of maximum feed rates of 314 inches per minute and rapid traverse speeds up to 787 inches per minute, facilitating efficient material removal and precision positioning.
