The Monarch MB-1500 is a robust horizontal machining center designed for heavy-duty production work with a substantial work envelope. Featuring a horizontal #50 spindle taper, the machine delivers 20 HP at 6,000 RPM as standard, with an optional 35 HP configuration reaching 10,000 RPM for enhanced versatility across diverse machining applications. The machine accommodates workpieces up to 22,000 lbs on a large 74" × 36.6" table, supported by optional indexing and rotary table configurations for multi-axis work capabilities. The dual-arm automatic tool changer manages either 32 tools standard or an expanded 60-tool capacity, achieving rapid tool changes in 3.5 seconds to minimize idle time. Travel distances span 59" in X-axis, up to 47.2" optional Y-axis travel, and 31.5" in Z-axis, with consistent rapid traverse rates of 600 ipm across all linear axes and maximum feed rates of 200 ipm.
