The MONFORTS UniCen 1000 is a high-performance horizontal CNC turning and milling center designed for complex, multi-axis machining operations. Featuring a main spindle with a maximum turning diameter of 35.000" and a turning length of 59.000", it supports a chuck diameter up to 12.000" and a maximum swing of 39.400". The main spindle delivers 67 HP at 4,000 RPM, while the sub-spindle provides 44 HP at the same speed, enabling efficient two-sided machining. The machine is equipped with an HSK primary tool carrier, accommodating up to 90 turning tools and 90 rotary tools, with rotary tools offering 21 HP at 4,500 RPM. With four axes of motion, including X, Y, and Z, the UniCen 1000 provides X-axis travel of 26.800", Y-axis travel of 7.880", and Z-axis travel of 61.000", all with a maximum feed and rapid traverse rate of 472 ipm. The integrated secondary milling and drilling functions support on-center, off-center, C-axis, and Y-axis operations, allowing for versatile and precise machining of complex geometries.
