A+Technical Description
The MORI-SAY TMZ 867 CNC Horizontal Machining Center is a high-performance, eight-spindle automatic lathe engineered for mass and series production of precision rotary parts. Designed for maximum versatility, it accommodates bar stock up to 3.150" (80 mm) in diameter and enables turning lengths up to 7.870" (200 mm), with a main spindle turning diameter of 12.000" (305 mm) and chuck diameter of 12.000". Each of the eight main spindles delivers 40 HP and operates at speeds up to 3,500 RPM, with an optimal setting of 2,500 RPM for demanding applications. The machine features two tool carriers: an 8-long saddle primary carrier and a 7-cross saddle secondary carrier, supporting up to 3 turning and 3 rotary tools per carrier, allowing for 16 simultaneous cutting tools. Standard secondary milling and drilling functions are available both on- and off-center, with integrated 'C' and 'Y' axis capabilities for complex multi-axis machining. The system is controlled by advanced Siemens SINUMERIK 840D sl, supporting up to 24 CNC-controlled axes for precise, synchronized operation. With high rigidity, thermal stability, and flexible configuration, the TMZ 867 CNC excels in automotive, hydraulic, and general precision component manufacturing, delivering fast cycle times, reduced setup, and outstanding repeatability.
