Technical Description
The Multiquip AR23* is a ride-on tandem vibratory roller designed for efficient compaction of soil, granular materials, and asphalt in a variety of construction and paving applications. It features dual smooth drums with a working width of 39.4 inches (1,000 mm), providing consistent, high-quality surface finishes. The machine delivers impact forces ranging from 7,643 to 9,217 lbf (34–41 kN) and operates at a vibration frequency of 3,540 to 9,217 vpm, allowing operators to match compaction intensity to specific job requirements. Powered by a reliable Yanmar 3TNV88 water-cooled, 3-cylinder diesel engine, the AR23* offers strong performance and durability in demanding conditions. The engine drives a hydrostatic transmission that provides infinitely variable speed control in both forward and reverse, enabling smooth starts, stops, and precise maneuvering. Maximum travel speed reaches 6.2 mph (10 km/h), supporting good productivity on job sites. The roller has an overall width of 3.9 ft (1.19 m) and a tight inside turning radius of 11 ft (3.35 m), enhancing maneuverability in confined spaces and around obstacles. With offset drums, the machine achieves excellent clearance against curbs and walls while increasing effective working width. The operator platform is vibration-isolated for comfort, and the machine is equipped with a folding ROPS that reduces height for transport and improves clearance. Overall height with ROPS extended is 103 inches (2,615 mm). Standard features include dual water filtration, lockable water tank, protected work lights, two scrapers per drum, and a single-point lifting system for easy handling.
