The Nakamura-Tome NTY3-250 is a high-performance horizontal multitasking machining center featuring dual main spindles with a max turning diameter of 8.86" (225 mm) and turning length up to 35.83" (910 mm). Both spindles operate at 6,000 RPM, driven by 24.6 HP motors, supporting bar diameters up to 2.59" (65 mm) and an 8" chuck diameter. This model incorporates three turrets, each with a Y-axis travel of 4.4" (112 mm) and capable of holding up to 24 tool stations, providing a total tool capacity of 72. Both turrets can simultaneously accommodate up to 12 turning and 12 rotary tools, with rotary tools rated at 7.3 HP and 6,000 RPM. The machine supports simultaneous cutting with up to 3 tools, integrating secondary mill/drill functions in-center, off-center, and with C and Y axes, enabling versatile multi-axis operations. It delivers rapid traverse rates up to 1,179 ipm across X (6.32"), Y (4.4"), and Z (13.98") axes, optimizing cycle times.
