The machine is equipped with a #40 taper horizontal spindle that delivers up to 12,000 RPM standard, with an optional upgrade to 20,000 RPM, driven by a 30 HP motor rated for 30 minutes of continuous operation. The spindle offers robust power and torque, suitable for a variety of materials and complex machining tasks. The SPN 40 employs a 40-tool automatic tool changer (ATC), with an optional capacity expansion up to 253 tools, enabling rapid tool change within 1 second and chip-to-chip time of 3 seconds, which optimizes production efficiency.
