This vertical machining center features a 39.37" x 39.37" table capable of handling workpieces up to 4,400 lbs, ideal for heavy-duty machining. It utilizes a vertical spindle with a BIG-PLUS CAT #50 taper, offering superior rigidity and precision through simultaneous taper and flange face contact, which reduces deflection and improves tool life and accuracy. The spindle delivers 30 HP (30-minute rating) with a top speed of 6,000 RPM, optionally up to 10,000 RPM, supporting a wide range of machining applications requiring high power and speed.
Equipped with a 40-tool Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) standard, expandable to 120 tools, it achieves rapid 8-second tool changes and 16 seconds chip-to-chip cycle times to optimize productivity. The system includes a standard pallet changer with two pallets, expandable to six, facilitating continuous operation and efficient workpiece handling.
The machine offers 5-axis capability (X, Y, Z linear axes plus 2 rotary axes) with travels of 64.96" (X), 51.18" (Y), and 39.37" (Z), and a 150° rotary axis, delivering versatile complex part machining.
