A+Technical Description
The PEGAS 400 PROFI SHI Horizontal Band Saw is engineered for precision cutting with a robust rectangular capacity of 15.75 inches in both height and width, accommodating maximum round and square cutting capacities of 15.75 inches (400 mm) at 0°. It features a versatile blade speed range from a minimum of 65.6 ft/min (20 m/min) to a maximum of 328 ft/min (100 m/min), allowing for tailored cutting operations. The saw is equipped with advanced blade guiding systems utilizing hardmetal plates and leading bearings, ensuring stability and accuracy during operation. The blade is set at a 7-degree slope relative to the vice level, optimizing cutting efficiency. Powered by a three-phase electromotor with a worm gear box and frequency converter, the saw offers reliable motor drive performance. The PLC MITSUBISHI control system, featuring a user-friendly touch display, includes automatic feed control (BRP) for enhanced operational ease. The hydraulic system manages the opening and closing of the vices, with one long-stroke jaw and one fixed jaw for secure material handling. The upper position is automatically controlled using the Pegas DPP system. An efficient emulsion cooling system directs coolant to the guides and cut groove via the LocLine system, ensuring optimal blade performance. Additional features include a slide for cut pieces, a chip extractor, workspace lighting, a band saw blade, a set of spanners, and an electronic manual on CD, making the PEGAS 400 PROFI SHI a comprehensive solution for demanding cutting tasks.
