Technical Description

The Powervac POWERVAC 1800 Static Smooth Drum Roller is a high-capacity industrial vacuum tank system designed for heavy-duty applications. It features a single-compartment tank with a capacity of 3500 U.S. gallons, measuring 6.5 feet in diameter and 16 feet in length. The tank is engineered for a design pressure and maximum allowable working pressure of 25 psi, with a test pressure of 37.5 psi, and it operates effectively within a temperature range of -20°F to 200°F. Key access and process ports include a 20-inch top manway and primary shut-off valve, 6-inch isolation valve and vacuum lines, 4-inch venting and decant valves, and various rear suction (4 inches) and discharge valves (6 inches), along with an 8-inch top loading port and 1-inch nitrogen line. Vacuum capabilities are supported by a high vacuum blower delivering 1600 CFM at a maximum vacuum of 27 inches Hg, and an auxiliary vacuum/pressure pump with a capacity of 410 CFM, also reaching 27 inches Hg vacuum and 25 psi maximum pressure. The system features a 4-way valve rated for up to 8 psi and a hydraulic system drain with a 3/4-inch diameter. The front hoist mechanism offers a capacity of 25 tons with a 10-foot stroke. Additional instrumentation includes a 9-inch diameter liquid level indicator float for internal monitoring. This robust assembly supports effective vacuum operations, fluid management, and pressure control essential for industrial cleaning, pumping, and fluid transfer tasks in demanding environments.
