This vertical machining center features a spacious 94" x 36" work table capable of supporting workpieces up to 5,500 lbs, with optional indexing and rotary table support for enhanced versatility. The machine is equipped with a CAT #50 spindle taper operating at a standard 6,000 RPM, with an optional upgrade to 12,000 RPM for high-speed machining applications. The 30 HP spindle provides substantial cutting power for both roughing and finishing operations. The three-axis configuration offers impressive travel capabilities: 62" along the X-axis, 34" (expandable to 42" optionally) on the Y-axis, and 32" on the Z-axis, with rapid traverse rates reaching 787 IPM across all axes and cutting feed rates of 393 IPM. The automatic tool changer accommodates 40 tools with rapid tool change times of just 4 seconds, minimizing production interruptions. Tool change with chip clearing capability occurs within 7 seconds. An optional fourth axis enables rotational positioning for complex part geometries, while a dual-pallet changer configuration allows efficient workpiece staging and unloading.
