This CNC vertical machining center features a robust dual vertical spindle configuration with #50 taper spindles, each delivering 49 HP (30-minute rating) and a top speed of 6,000 RPM, optionally upgradable to 10,000 RPM. The machine table measures 173" long by 36" wide, extendable to 824" by 200" for large workpieces, and supports an exceptionally high maximum load capacity of 999,999 lbs, accommodating extremely heavy or large components. The standard machine operates on three linear axes (X, Y, Z) with optional 4-axis capability, including a rotary B-axis capable of 360° rotation, enabling complex contouring and angular machining. The X, Y, and Z travels are 173", 36", and 40" respectively, with maximum feed rates and rapid traverses up to 400 and 800 inches per minute. Tooling is managed by an ATC 40 tool carrier housing 40 tools, optionally expandable to 50, facilitating efficient automated tool changes. Optional accessories include support index and rotary tables and a pallet changer, increasing versatility and productivity for diverse machining operations. The machine’s construction supports high-precision vertical milling applications over a large work envelope, suitable for heavy-duty industrial manufacturing, mold making, aerospace, or automotive part machining, especially where dual simultaneous spindle operations and extensive travel are required.
