THE 2024 REKORD CK 300-TH TWIN HEAD GRINDER IS CAPABLE OF HANDLING CIRCULAR KNIVES FROM 40MM TO 350MM (1.6” TO 13.75”) IN DIAMETER, WITH A MAXIMUM STROKE OF UP TO 25MM (1”). IT UTILIZES TWO GRINDING HEADS FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY PROCESSING BOTH BILATERAL BEVELS UP TO 90° INCLUSIVE FOR A BURR-FREE FINISH, AND CAN GRIND SINGLE BEVEL KNIVES FROM -10° TO +70° BEVEL ANGLES. THE MACHINE IS PLC CONTROLLED, MANAGED VIA A CONTROL BOARD WITH A 10” TOUCH SCREEN DISPLAY. KNIFE ROTATION IS AUTOMATIC AT 14 RPM AND ELECTRONICALLY VARIABLE. EACH GRINDING MOTOR IS 1 HP, DRIVING A 125MM DIAMETER GRINDING WHEEL (20MM BORE) AT 4700 RPM. FEATURES INCLUDE A QUICK CHANGE KNIFE HOLDER (5/8"), A FULLY ENCLOSED VARIABLE SPEED COOLANT SYSTEM WITH MAGNETIC SEPARATOR, A DARWIN 600D MIST COLLECTOR, AND MANUAL CENTRALIZED LUBRICATION. ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS ARE 480V, 3 PHASE, 60 CYCLE. THE UNIT'S SHIPPING WEIGHT IS 500KG (1100LBS) AND INCLUDES A WIFI COMMUNICATIONS USB ADAPTOR FOR REMOTE SUPPORT.
