The SMART MACHINE TOOL SV 5 is a 3-axis CNC vertical machining center designed for precision production work. It features a robust working envelope with 51.18 inches of X-axis travel, 27.56 inches of Y and Z-axis travel, and a 57.09" x 25.59" table capable of supporting 3,307 lbs. The machine is powered by a 24.95 hp spindle motor operating at 12,000 RPM with a Cat 40 Big Plus taper interface. The Big Plus dual-contact spindle system provides simultaneous taper and spindle face contact, delivering increased tool rigidity, improved surface finish, and enhanced dimensional accuracy compared to conventional taper-only systems.
