The SNK Horizontal Machining Center is a high-performance, 4-axis CNC machine engineered for precision and productivity in demanding industrial environments. Featuring a robust table size of 39.3" x 39.3" and a maximum workpiece weight capacity of 3,300 lbs, this machining center is designed to handle medium to large workpieces with ease. The horizontal spindle, equipped with a #50 taper, delivers reliable performance with a standard top speed of 8,000 RPM, with an optional upgrade to 15,000 RPM for high-speed applications. The spindle is powered by a 33 HP motor (30-minute rating), with an optional 60 HP configuration for increased cutting power. Tool management is streamlined via a 60-position automatic tool changer (ATC), with an optional expansion to 250 tools, and a pallet changer is available as an option for enhanced automation. The machine provides extensive travel ranges: 59.0" on the X-axis, 47.2" on the Y-axis, and 48.0" on the Z-axis, all with a maximum feed rate and rapid traverse of 1,575 IPM for fast, efficient machining cycles. The B-axis offers 1.0° indexing for versatile part positioning.
