Technical Description

The Sugino NSV15 is a compact vertical machining center designed for versatile manufacturing applications. Featuring a 30-taper spindle with a standard maximum speed of 12,000 RPM (optionally upgradeable to 16,000 RPM), this machine delivers 7.50 HP at its standard rating with optional 3.00 HP configuration. The work table measures 23.6" × 15.75" and accommodates workpieces weighing up to 770 lbs, making it suitable for small to medium-sized parts. The machine offers three-axis travel with X, Y, and Z movements of 19.68", 15.7", and 11.81" respectively, providing ample working envelope for diverse machining operations. With maximum rapid traverse rates of 2,122 IPM across all axes and cutting feed rates up to 394 IPM, the NSV15 delivers efficient productivity. The automatic tool changer (ATC) holds a standard capacity of 15 tools, expandable to 27 tools optionally, with exceptionally fast tool change times of just 1 second. A rotary table is available as an optional accessory for enhanced part positioning capabilities. The machine's compact design, combined with its precision BT30 spindle interface and rapid indexing capabilities, makes the NSV15 ideal for job shops and manufacturers requiring flexible, high-accuracy machining of smaller components with quick tool changes and reduced setup times.
