Technical Description
The Symetix Optyx SG-N Motor Grader is a heavy-duty, articulated-frame machine designed for high-precision grading, leveling, and earthmoving operations. It features a robust 6-cylinder diesel engine delivering 306 hp (228 kW) at 1,850 rpm, with a displacement of 763 cubic inches (12.5 L), bore of 5.1 in (130 mm), stroke of 6.2 in (157 mm), and peak torque of 1,137 lb-ft. The grader is equipped with a tandem-drive system, full hydraulic controls for the circle, moldboard, and blade, and a heavy-duty transmission enabling forward speeds up to 31.4 mph and reverse speeds up to 24.8 mph. The blade assembly includes a reinforced moldboard with a maximum cutting depth of 28.9 in (735 mm), maximum lift above ground of 18.9 in (480 mm), and side shift cylinders providing up to 26.1 in (663 mm) left and 20.2 in (512 mm) right movement. The blade beam thickness is 2 in (50 mm). The machine operates on a 480 V, 3-phase electrical system, drawing 4.94 A, with a control system compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, featuring secure and encrypted logs, passcode management, parameter histograms, and guided changeover. The low electrical power consumption (3 W) is for control electronics. The grader is built for versatility, supporting ditching, sloping, bank cutting, grading, scarifying, and snow removal, with a heavy-duty frame and advanced hydraulic and braking systems for reliable performance in demanding environments.
