The TAKAMAZ X-20 HI SERVER is a high-performance horizontal machining center designed for precision turning operations. It features a main spindle with a maximum turning diameter of 10.240 inches and a maximum turning length of 17.720 inches, supported by an 8-inch chuck and a bar capacity of 2 inches. The main spindle motor delivers 15 HP with a maximum speed of 4,000 RPM, ensuring robust cutting power. Additionally, the machine includes a sub spindle capable of turning diameters up to 5.5 inches and lengths up to 19.680 inches, powered by a 5 HP motor at speeds up to 3,500 RPM. The machine utilizes a 12-station servo-driven turret tool carrier that supports up to 12 turning and 12 rotary tools, each with up to 3 HP, enabling complex machining with simultaneous use of one cutting tool. It has two axes standard (X and Z) with optional three-axis configurations, offering travel capacities of 6.5 inches (X) and 196.85 inches (Z) with rapid traverse rates of 707 inches per minute for all axes, enabling high-speed tool positioning and efficient operation.
