The TAKISAWA TG-6000 is a heavy-duty horizontal machining center designed for large diameter and long workpieces, delivering exceptional turning capability with a maximum turning diameter of 29.920" and a turning length up to 40.590". Its main spindle features a 15" chuck diameter, a max swing of 34.650", and supports a bar diameter of up to 5.120". Equipped with a powerful 60 HP motor running at 1,200 RPM, it ensures robust performance for demanding machining tasks. The machine includes a primary turret tool carrier with a standard capacity of 8 turning and 8 rotary tools, with an optional second turret expanding tool capacity up to 10 tools in both categories. This setup enables versatile tooling configurations but allows only one simultaneous cutting tool. The TG-6000 operates on two axes (X and Y), with travel distances of 16.140" and an optional Z-axis travel of 122.050", all capable of rapid traverse rates up to 472 inches per minute for efficient material removal.
