Technical Description

The Takumi USA H10 is a heavy-duty, 3-axis horizontal machining center engineered for precision production and versatile applications. This compact powerhouse features a generous work envelope with X, Y, and Z-axis travels of 40.16", 27.56", and 19.69" respectively, accommodating workpieces up to 1,760 lbs on its 41.3" x 27.6" table. The machine delivers exceptional cutting performance through its direct-drive spindle rated at 15,000 rpm with 25 hp continuous power output, providing 105.5 ft-lb peak torque. Equipped with Big PlusĀ® CAT 40 spindle taper (BT 40 optional), the H10 accommodates tools up to 300mm in length and 7kg in weight via its 30-position swing-arm automatic tool changer. Rapid traverse rates of 1,259 ipm across all axes enable swift positioning and cycle time reduction. The machine incorporates a rigid double-column bridge-type design with absolute direct measuring systems and thermal stability measures, including spindle cooling and thermal expansion compensation systems. Through-spindle coolant delivery (30 bar standard) enhances tool life and surface finish quality. Operating at 50 KVA electrical consumption with 6 bar pneumatic requirements, the H10 weighs 20,020 lbs and occupies 177.95" x 168.74" x 120.01" of floor space. This configuration makes it ideal for diverse manufacturing environments requiring balanced capacity, accuracy, and reliability for both production runs and prototype development.
