The Toyoda FH450S is a CNC horizontal machining center engineered for high-speed, precision operations in automotive and aerospace manufacturing. This compact yet rigid machine features a 17.7" x 17.7" pallet working surface with uniform travel capabilities of 23.62" across all three axes (X, Y, Z), providing consistent workspace for complex part production. Powered by a 30 HP spindle motor, the FH450S delivers maximum speeds of 15,000 RPM with optional capability up to 22,000 RPM, enabling efficient material removal across metals and advanced composites. The machine accommodates a maximum workpiece weight of 880 lbs per pallet. Equipped with four standard axes and an optional fifth axis configuration, the FH450S features an NC-controlled B-axis that rotates the pallet to 360,000 programmable positions, with 90° rotation achievable in just 2.2 seconds. The automatic tool changer holds 60 tools standard, with expansion options to 494 positions, and delivers rapid tool changes in 1.3 seconds tool-to-tool.
